Terms of Service
Last updated September 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of SpreadVector. By creating an account you agree to them.
It is an educational research tool. Every result it produces is a starting point for your own research, not a recommendation to enter any trade. We are not a broker, not an investment adviser, and not your fiduciary. Options involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every investor. You are solely responsible for every decision you make and every trade you place.
What the service does
SpreadVector screens option and stock data and presents setups with figures such as credit, maximum loss and probability of expiring out of the money. It finds and prices candidates. It does not connect to any broker, cannot see your account, and cannot place an order.
About the data
Market data is licensed from third-party providers and is believed accurate but is not guaranteed. It may be delayed or incomplete. Underlying stock prices are delayed by at least fifteen minutes, and option prices shown are indicative. Always confirm the contract, the strikes and the credit in your broker before placing a trade.
Figures we derive — earnings-related history, guidance labels, dividend safety ratings and similar — are our own calculations from that licensed data. They are signals, not statements of fact about a company, and they can be wrong. Where a rating cannot be computed honestly we show it as Unknown rather than guessing.
Projected dates, including upcoming earnings dates, are projections rather than confirmed schedules. Companies move them.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; an account is for one person. You are responsible for activity under your account.
What you may and may not do with the data
The market data reaching you is licensed to us for your personal use within SpreadVector. You may use it for your own research and your own trading. You may not redistribute, resell or republish it, and you may not extract it to build or feed another product or data service.
Practically: exporting a scan to CSV for your own records is exactly what the export button is for. Republishing those files, feeding them into something you sell, or scraping the service in bulk is not.
Do not attempt to access parts of the service you are not entitled to, interfere with its operation, or use automated means to extract data at scale.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and we never see or store them. Fees and billing periods are those shown at the time you subscribe. You can cancel at any time and will keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Unless the law where you live says otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded on cancellation.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and the data current, but it depends on third-party providers and we cannot guarantee it will always be available, complete or uninterrupted. Features may change as the product develops.
Ending an account
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly the restrictions on redistributing data.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from reliance on anything it displays. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE TO BE CONFIRMED], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
